Technology Stocks Seem To Be At an All Time Low

wall street nyseAlarmingly technology stocks seem to be down a lot. In fact Local Corporation that trade as (NASDAQ:LOCM) are a leading technology advertising company and they just announced that they will present the seventeenth annual Needham Growth Conference on the 15th of January 2015 at the New York Palace Hotel. Back on Monday, the companies stocks closed at $0.074. However, despite the low stock price their growth over the past 5 years has been an impressive 19.80%.

On the 6th of Jan the company Ascent Solar Technologies Inc., a manufacturer and developer of flexible thin film photovoltaic modules also integrated themselves into off the grid apps too, and have a range called EnerPlex TM. They made an accouchement that they will display their products at the CES this year in Las Vegas, where new releases will be displayed; they will of course be unseen and are expected to bring some hype to the tech market! Despite this announcement though their last trading move was down by -6.49% seeing stocks close at $0.78 each. Their week’s performance was down by -28.14% and their quarterly one currently stands at -47.56%. They are a terrible 90.65% away from their 52-week high!

The Brazilian Telecommunications company Oi SA (ADR) trading on the market as (NYSE:OIBR) announced on Monday  that they agree with shareholders to join hands with Portugal Telecom SGPS SA and they will actually post phone a move to sell their asset sales for $8.8 billion. They saw a disappointing minus 15.95% decrease closing at 2.16 per stock. Their week’s volatility was 10.36% and their growth over the past five years has been low too, in fact, to be precise it is minus twenty-seven percent.
