Businessman Donald Trump has won the nation’s first votes in three small towns in New Hampshire, local officials say. Results from the entire state and other parts of the country won’t be known until later on Tuesday.

Overall, Trump received 32 votes, former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton received 25 votes, and former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson received 4 votes. Five other people wrote in other names, 3 of them going to U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders.

Midnight voting is a popular tradition in Dixville Notch and Hart’s Location, with the town of Millsfield also joining in this year for the first time since the 1950s. Although the number of votes is statistically negligible, they mark the nation’s first election results.

Clinton won in both the towns of Dixville and Hart’s Location, but Trump ended up with an overall win as he received 16 out of 21 votes in the town of Millsfield.

The next result will be from the U.S. territory of Guam, where voters do not have the right to participate in the presidential election but residents will still be taking part in a straw poll. The island’s results have correctly predicted the nation’s next president since the straw poll started in 1984.
