Actor Frank Vincent, who is best remembered for his prominent roles in the HBO series “The Sopranos” and films such as “Goodfellas” and “Raging Bull,” has died. He was 78 years old.
Vincent suffered a heart attack last week and underwent open-heart surgery on Wednesday, according to entertainment news website TMZ. Vincent passed away while undergoing the operation.

Vincent’s acting career spanned more than 4 decades, during which he often appeared in mafia movies. His most memorable role includes Phil Leotardo in “The Sopranos” and Billy Batts in “Goodfellas.”
