Irish singer Dolores O’Riordan, who was well-known for being the lead singer of “The Cranberries,” has died in London, her publicist says. She was 46 years old.

“Irish and international singer Dolores O’Riordan has died suddenly in London today,” her publicist said in a statement. It provided no further details about the cause of her death.

“Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time,” the statement said.
