Google services are suffering an outage, causing major websites and services such as Spotify and Snapchat to go down, although the extent of the problem was not immediately clear.
The incident began at about 12:20 p.m. PT on Tuesday when Google App Engine, which is used as a web framework and cloud computing platform to develop and host web applications, began experiencing problems.
Google said on its status dashboard that a number of its services were experiencing outages. This includes Google App Engine, Google Stackdriver, and Google Cloud Global Loadbalancers.
As a result, numerous websites are either down or partially down. Other web services, including apps such as Snapchat, Spotify, and Pokemon Go, are also down for many users.
