‘Glee’ star Mark Salling arrested for child porn possession

Actor Mark Salling, who is best known for his role as Noah “Puck” Puckerman on the comedy TV series “Glee”, has been arrested for possession of child pornography after hundreds of images were found on his computer, reports say.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department said Salling, 33, was arrested on Tuesday morning for 311.11 (a) PC Possession of child pornography. It came after a search warrant was executed at Salling’s residence in the 9900 block of Helen Avenue, which is in the Sunland neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Specific details about the allegations were not immediately released, but TMZ.com reported that cops had searched Salling’s computer and found hundreds of images of child pornography. Representatives for the actor did not immediately comment on the report.

Child porn possession CPC 311.11 is a felony and carries a sentence of imprisonment in the state prison or county jail for up to one year, a fine not exceeding $2,500, or both.
