Bradesco Seguros CEO Marco Antonio Rossi dies in Brazil plane crash

Four people, including Marco Antonio Rossi, the chief executive of Brazilian insurance company Bradesco Seguros, have been killed after their business jet crashed in Brazil, local media report.

The accident happened on Tuesday afternoon when the business jet went down in the state of Goiás, near the border with the state of Minas Gerais. The aircraft was flying from the capital Brasília to Sao Paulo.

The local Valor Economico newspaper reported that Bradesco Seguros CEO Marco Antonio Rossi was killed in the crash, as well as Bradesco Vida e Previdencia executive Lúcio Flávio Conduro de Oliveira. The Reuters news agency also reported the deaths, citing sources.

Other details about Tuesday’s crash were not immediately known.

Bradesco Seguros, which was founded in 1946 by the Bradesco bank, is Latin America’s biggest insurance company, employing more than 16,000 people.
