Police and other emergency services in Tennessee are responding to a mass shooting at a toddler’s birthday party in the city of Dyersburg in Dyer County, local officials say. Only few details were immediately available.

The incident happened at around 7 p.m. CT on Thursday when multiple gunshots were fired at a residence on Longfellow Avenue, where a birthday party was taking place for a two-year-old child.

According to initial reports, at least 7 people have been shot, including a 21-year-old woman who has died and a 6-year-old child who has been rushed to the Regional Medical Center, according to WMC-TV. The conditions of the other victims were not immediately known.

No arrests were immediately made, but police are looking for at least one and possibly more suspects. As a result of the incident, the hospital in Dyersburg has been put on lockdown, which is said to be a standard procedure after a mass shooting.
