Three people have been killed in a shooting at the Nissan Of Greenville auto dealership in Hunt County, about 45 miles northeast of Dallas, local police say. It reportedly involves bounty hunters and their target.
The incident happened at around 7 p.m. CT on Tuesday when officers were called to reports of shots being fired at the dealership, which is located along Interstate 30, about halfway between Wesley Street and Joe Ramsey Boulevard.
City officials confirmed that 3 men were killed in the shooting, but there was no immediate confirmation of their identities or the circumstances of the shooting. Officers from both the Greenville Police Department and the Hunt County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
Kevin Reece, a reporter for WFAA-TV, reported that those killed are believed to be two bounty hunters and their target. Photos from the scene showed that several windows were hit by gunfire, shattering at least one window.
