Your office supplies can ensure that current and potential employees know who you are and how to reach you. They can also advertise who you are to customers. An easy way to customize your supplies is through the use of hydrographics.

1- Choosing the Details

Before you begin transferring details from hydrographics to your office supplies, you need to determine what information you will showcase. If the supplies are small, such as a pen or a magnet, consider including only the name of the business and the phone number or website. Larger supplies can include more details, such as your physical address, a slogan, or a logo. However, you don’t want to overwhelm people who view your products. Another factor to keep in mind is that more details that are used can sometimes become blurred if they are in a small area. There are programs you can use to help with images if you’re unable to develop a design. All you have to do is enter a few details to see the generated results. Consider the wrapped design of the image as you want to space out your letters and pictures in a way that is seen on things like mugs or pens.

2- What Can You Do?

When a design is ready, look at your hydrographic software system to determine its capability. Some are a bit more advanced and can provide many options so you get just about any design you want. On the other hand, some systems are newer and can’t manage all of the details involved with hydrographics, but they can provide a basic concept so that you have something to get started. If you take the time to craft a design that speaks to viewers, you could see an increase in the number of customers you have while also making employees smile when they see the supplies you have in the office. Several canvases are available for hydrographic, including wood and plastic.

3- Fine Details

Before you add your design to your office supplies, print it to a few other items so that you can see what it will look like. This will allow you to make any adjustments before investing the graphics in hundreds or thousands of supplies you want employees and customers to have. A practice run can also help you determine if there are issues with your printer and software so that you can make those improvements. Before adding the design to your supplies, choose a color to use as your base that accents the words and images used. White and black are good background colors, but if there are hues in the words and pictures of your design, consider using a background color that highlights those. Pastel colors work well in this aspect.

While standard printing can inform others about your business, hydro graphics can deliver a bolder design that grabs viewers’ attention.
